Human rights are a lynchpin of the European Parliament’s work, safeguarding the values that make Europe what it is today: rich, diverse and vibrant, writes FRA Director Morten Kjaerum in an opinion article published in a number of European newspapers. That’s why we should care about the forthcoming European parliamentary elections. After all, this parliament will be taking decisions for the next five years that affect every one of us.
