At the start of the new academic year, the Commissioner for Education, Professor Charles Farrugia wished all students successful forthcoming academic year.

The Commissioner for Education is responsible for investigating complaints about all forms of mismanagement taken by the authorities or institutions operating in the public education sector including entities that provide a service for or on behalf of government.

The Commissioner believes that legitimate complaints and their investigation serve to improve the educational services for members of the community. The Commissioner said that he strives to ensure that people who wish to submit complaints can do so in an easy and straightforward manner and that all complaints are treated with due diligence and fairness.
