Human rights and respect for human dignity remain values that matter most to European citizens, and work to improve fundamental rights safeguards must therefore continue, FRA Director Morten Kjaerum told a joint debate on fundamental rights at the European Parliamentary Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) on 4 September.
