Guido van Woerkom has been elected by Parliament as the new National Ombudsman of the Netherlands. Mr Van Woerkom is currently managing director of the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB. ANWB has over four million members. Mr Van Woerkom will take office in November 2014. Until then Frank van Dooren is the acting National Ombudsman.
