The results of the 2013 European Network of Ombudsmen survey are available on the Extranet at:
Several questions in the survey concerned the Network's current activities. The key results were as follows:
- All of the Network's current activities were considered to be "very important" or "quite important" by a majority of respondents

The activities which the greatest proportion of respondents considered to be "very important" were:
- Sharing best practices between members of the Network (88%)
- Organising regular seminars at the national, regional, and liaison officer levels (80%)
- Assisting Network members with their queries about EU law and policies (61%)
- Sharing information about the latest developments in EU law (60%)
- Maintaining and sharing a list of the Network's members (59%)
- Providing an Extranet for discussion and document-sharing between Network members (56%)
- All of the Network's current activities were considered to be carried out "very well" or "quite well" by a majority of respondents

The activities which the greatest proportion of respondents considered to be carried out "very well" were:
- Organising regular seminars at the national, regional, and liaison officer levels (73%)
- Providing a Daily News service (68%)
- Providing an Extranet for discussion and document-sharing between Network members (67%)
- Sharing best practices between members of the Network (61%)
- Publishing a Newsletter twice a year containing contributions from members of the Network (58%)
- Maintaining and sharing a list of the Network's members (57%)

The activities which the greatest proportion of respondents considered to be carried out "not very well" or "not at all well" were:
- Informing the public about the Network and its members (33%)
- Sharing information about the latest developments in EU law (23%)
- Co-operating with other ombudsman networks and associations (16%)
These results are invaluable in showing what the Network's members consider to be the most important activities to focus on, as well as clearly indicating where improvements to the service provided to members of the Network can be made.
