On 7 February 2014, the Ombudsman responded to a Scottish Government consultation on the Scottish Welfare Fund. His response focused on the issues that a second tier review scheme may face, the factors we think the Scottish Government should take into account when deciding between the options, and proposals about the role of the SPSO.
