The Ombudsman Agenda

October 20^th: The Portuguese Ombudsman attended the Ceremony commemorating the 69^th Anniversary of the Criminal Police (Polícia Judiciária) at the New Headquarters in Lisbon.

October 28^th: The Portuguese Ombudsman issued a communication entitled The Labor and the Social Justice (O Trabalho e a Justiça Social) in the II Portuguese-Spanish Labor Law Conference, organized by the Faculty of Law in partnership with Gómez-Acebo & Pombo held at the Lisbon New University Dean’s Office (Reitoria Universidade Nova de Lisboa).

October 29^th: The Portuguese Ombudsman closed the Video Surveillance Security and Defense Conference held at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences (Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas), in Lisbon.

October 31^st: The Portuguese Ombudsman participated in Social Communication Conference and Fundamental Rights. A virtuous circle? - Press Conferences where he made a communication on the same subject, in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra.

November 4^th: The Portuguese Ombudsman was at the Conference on Fiscal Transparency - What is its importance in the contemporary context of an crisis economy and society? marking the 10^th anniversary of the South Central Administrative Court  (Tribunal Central Administrativo do Sul) with a lecture on The perspective of the Taxpayer Advocate at the Lisbon New University Dean’s Office (Reitoria Universidade Nova de Lisboa).
