On 3 July 2014 the UN expert of the Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (SPT) Ms. Mari Amos visited the Seimas Ombudsmen’s Office and provided consultation to employees of the Human Rights Division of the Seimas Ombudsmen’s Office on monitoring of detention places in Lithuania.
