Children and experts underlined the need to give children the chance of being agents of change during an event at the Agency on 28 April on improving child participation. They spoke of the importance of mainstreaming child participation across policies to ensure the views of children are captured in all matters that affect them. The children underlined why change is needed when they recounted their experiences of being scared, frustrated, ignored or belittled in judicial proceedings.
