Recently Fazail Hasanov and Vugar Heydarov, representatives of the Ombudsman Office made a visit to the military units of the Ministry of Defence in Agjabadi rayon.

The aim of the monitoring was to get acquainted with living conditions of military servants and the situation of protection of human rights in those facilities.

All corpses of those military facilities including bedrooms, classrooms, medical units, canteens, kitchens and food storages were monitored. The conditions created for military servants, treatment, the quality of food, etc were found satisfactory.

During the meeting staff members gave broad information about human rights, the rights of military servants, the Commissioner’s activities in this field, current national military legislation and military regulations and answered to a lot of their questions.
