The Dutch Ombudsman Mr. Reinier van Zutphen and staff member Mr. Stephan Sjouke as well as the Ombudsman of the Basque Country, Mr. Manuel Lezertua, visited Athens on 24 and 25 of July.

The Ombudsmen had a meeting with the Greek Ombudsman Mr. Andreas Pottakis at the premises of the Institution.

The aim of the meeting was their cooperation and exchange of views on how European Ombudsmen will deal with reporting on migration and asylum issues.
