On 8-9 March in Brussels (Belgium) Ombudsman Juris Jansons participated in the European Network of Ombudsmen Conference 2018. Participants of the conference discussed the future of the EU as to ensuring an inclusive and fair society for citizens, current and future challenges for ombudsmen and cross-border problem solving for EU citizens.

Ombudsman of Latvia was appraised for sucessful cooperation with journalists and actively expressing his opinion in media.
