The period for the submission of candidatures for the completion of two vacancies in the Advisory Council of the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture (NPM), assigned to the Ombudsman, is open.
The purpose is to fill these two vacancies, for two years, by representatives of associations of private law, with a corporate purpose related to the purposes of the Convention against Torture and its Optional Protocol and relevant activity in this field in Portugal
Applications may be submitted to the Ombudsman by May 7, 2019 by registered mail or in person at Rua do Pau de Bandeira, 9, 1249-088 Lisbon, with an indication of the names of the two representatives, one staff member and the other alternate , who shall carry out the duties in question in the case of designation.
