The Greek Ombudsman Andreas Pottakis had on 22.3.2019 several meetings in Brussels with the European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos and the first Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans. The Greek Ombudsman was accompanied by the Ombudsman of the Basque Country Manuel Lezertua, and the National Ombudsman of the Netherlands  Reinier van Zutphen.
