In November and December the Ombudsman held three webinars for Citizen Information Centre staff explaining the role of the Ombudsman. On Thursday 30 November we hosted a webinar for staff from the CIC North Dublin region, and on Wednesday 6 December hosted two webinars for CIC staff from the North Munster region.

The webinars focused on explaining the role of the Ombudsman and how CIC staff can help refer people to the Ombudsman where appropriate. The webinars included a Q&A section where CIC staff provided feedback on common issues they are seeing in their work. In 2024 the Ombudsman will be hosting similar webinars for other CIC regional groups.
