Support for human rights systems and defenders  Civil society

FRA presented its ongoing work on a report on human rights defenders’ access to the EU at the annual meeting of the EU Temporary Relocation Platform.

The meeting took place from 7 to 8 June in Brussels.

The report follows a request of the European Parliament, where it will be presented on 28 June.

On 5 July the report will also be presented in the Council Working Party on Human Rights (COHOM).

On 9 June, FRA also attended the meeting of the NGO International Partnership for Human Rights. It presented preliminary findings from its report on supporting human rights defenders in long-term exile.
