The Special Report Sustainable Tourism Development: Framework - Infrastructure - Resources, attempts to approach critical issues, regarding tourism development and sustainability as implemented in Greece. It examines aspects of the framework for tourism development, assesses the state of infrastructure and the adequacy of natural resources, as well as the adequacy, readiness and effectiveness of the administrative mechanism. At the same time, it makes key proposals to ensure sustainable tourism development.
