The Parliamentary Ombudsman of Malta, Judge Emeritus Joseph Zammit McKeon, received a letter of gratitude from the Ombudsman of Moldova, Mr Ceslav Panico, highlighting the successful outcomes of the recent official visit by the Moldovan delegation to Malta. This visit was part of an ongoing effort to foster international human rights and public administration collaboration.

During their visit, the delegation engaged in extensive discussions with the Office of the Ombudsman of Malta, focusing on critical areas such as health, environmental issues, and education. These conversations provided valuable insights into Malta’s approach to protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals, which the Moldovan delegation found both enlightening and inspiring.

Mr. Panico praised the warm reception and the structured interaction facilitated by the Office of the Ombudsman in Malta, including a notable courtesy visit to Mr. Anglu Farrugia, Speaker of the Parliament of Malta.
