Environmental and social sustainability

FRA was part of the High-Level Conference on Social Rights - The European Social Charter, organised by the Council of Europe and its Moldovan Presidency. FRA built on synergies with key social rights actors and human rights partners, institutions.

It contributed to the debate about social rights as human rights and as central to democracy, their role in ensuring social equality and social justice. 

The conference produced the Chisinau declaration as a renewed commitment to the European Social Charter and social rights.

The event ran from 18 to 19 March in Chișinău, Moldova.
