(FRA) FRA joins LIBE committee discussions on asylum, migration, and integration

FRA took part in a shadow meeting of the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs concerning the proposal for a Regulation establishing support for asylum migration, and integration from 2028 to 2034 (AMI Regulation).
FRA highlighted key fundamental rights issues in the new proposal. It also joined discussions on the proposed European Fund Regulation for economic, social and territorial cohesion, agriculture, rural development, fisheries, and maritime prosperity and security for 2028–2034 (National and Regional Partnership Plans).
The Brussels meeting took place on 24 March. The EU Asylum Agency, Frontex, the UN Refugee Agency, and International Organization for Migration were also present.
