FRA provided evidence-based input to support the development of the EU’s Anti-Racism Strategy 2026–2030. The contribution draws on the Agency’s survey data, research findings, and expert opinions.
The submission addresses key areas outlined in the European Commission’s Call for Evidence. These included racism and racial inequalities in various areas of life, including racial discrimination, racist harassment, structural inequality, racism and discrimination through an intersectional lens.
It also covered rights awareness, knowledge of equality bodies and (under)reporting of discrimination, hate crime, racial profiling and racism in policing, racist hatred online and bias in algorithms, and the pressures facing civil society organisations.
In addition, it touches on equality data and fundamental rights-based approach in monitoring and evaluation.
FRA’s contribution aims to support the strategy with solid evidence to help ensure effective and rights-based measures across the EU.
