On February 26, 2026, Public Defender of Georgia Levan Ioseliani and First Deputy Public Defender Tamar Gvaramadze met with UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia Didier Trebucq.

The state of human rights protection in the country, as well as the ongoing and implemented legislative changes were discussed at the meeting. The parties also talked in detail about the prospects for further cooperation with UN agencies.
