Speaking at the session, the Public Defender briefly reviewed the rights situation of the conflict-affected population (those living in the occupied territories and along the occupation line, as well as displaced persons). He focused on the violations of rights detected during the protests in 2024, the problems identified in penitentiary institutions and the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; the rights of persons with disabilities, older people, children and women.

In the environmental protection section, he separately highlighted the issue of the realization of the right to water, spoke about the changes to be implemented to ensure health and labour rights.

He briefly reviewed the measures to be implemented for the civil integration of representatives of national minorities and the situation of freedom of belief and religion.
