This year’s Human Rights Day celebrates 50 years of two landmark international human rights covenants: the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. To mark the occasion, the European Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) acknowledges their contribution in shaping and strengthening human rights protection worldwide.
