DEPUTY OMBUDSMAN MET WITH STUDENTS FROM THE UNIVERSITY “GOCE DELCHEV” FROM SHTIP AND ACQUAINTED THEM WITH INSTITUTION’ COMPETENCES

Deputy Ombudsman, Ms. Elena Gjorgonoska Manevska from the regional office in Shtip, held lecture at the Faculty of Law at the University “Goce Delchev” in Shtip on “The Role of the Ombudsman in Protection of the Constitutional and Legal Rights of the Citizens in the Republic of Macedonia”.

During the lecture, the students from the first cycle were acquainted with the institution Ombudsman, its competences, the constitutional setting, the field of action, the manner of acting etc.

The lecture was inter-active i.e. the students asked questions about the institution and its manner of work with aim to get a clearer picture about institutional competences in case they would need to approach the Ombudsman for the purpose of protection of their rights.
