The Commissioner for Environment and Planning, Perit David Pace was invited by the Mediterranean Commission of United Cities and Local Government (UCLG) to participate in a workshop on the quality of public services.

The aim of the workshop was to promote local and regional autonomy and institutional reinforcement of local authorities in the region.

Commissioner David Pace contributed by delivering a presentation on the use of mediation in ensuring citizens’ rights to a better quality of life.

The UCLG is the largest exchange framework between local and regional elected representatives In the Mediterranean region.  The workshop was held in Rabat, Morocco and was organised by the UCLG in conjunction with the French Centre for Regional Public Service (CNPFT) and the Rabat-Sale-Kenitra Region
