The Parliamentary Ombudsman, Chief Justice Emeritus Joseph Said Pullicino met Mr Michael Cohen, Advisor to the Office of the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government, Mr Maurice Caruana and Ms Therese Spiteri, Policy Coordinators within the same Parliamentary Secretariat who had requested a meeting to discuss proposed amendments to the Local Council Act.

A further meeting will be held once the Ombudsman reviews the proposals drafted by the Ministry officials to implement the electoral manifesto expectations.
