The Parliamentary Ombudsman, Chief Justice Emeritus Joseph Said Pullicino, has met Adv. John Walters, President of the International Ombudsman Institute and Ombudsman of Namibia.

During the meeting, the Parliamentary Ombudsman and Adv. Walters discussed the setting up of the International Ombudsman Law Institute (IOLI) in Malta and matters related to Human Rights.

John Walters reaffirmed that IOI will fully support Malta’s initiative to establish the IOLI and will help in promoting the institute among IOI members.

Adv. Walters is in Malta to participate in the CHOGM People’s Forum.
