European Ombudsman EmilyO'Reilly and Polish Ombudsman Irena Lipowicz opened the 10th National Ombudsmen Seminar, which takes place in Warsaw 26-28 April at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.

Seminars for national ombudsmen provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and identify best practices in the field of civil rights. They are held every two years. The first one was held in 1996 in Strasbourg.

10th National Seminar of the European Network of Ombudsmen is jointly organized by the Polish and European Ombudsman.
