Students of eight and ninth grade from the Primary School (PS) “Marshal Tito” from Strumica visited the regional office of the Ombudsman in Strumica and talked to the Deputy Ombudsman, Mr. Slavcho Timov about the role of the Ombudsman in protection of children rights and the Department of Children Rights and the Rights of Persons with Special Needs.
The students were mainly interested in the manner of protection of their rights in case they are abused in the school as well as about the way they can submit complaints to the Ombudsman, Ombudsman competences as an institution, the procedure itself and the undertaken actions by the Ombudsman for eliminating the abuses of legal rights of children.
