Europe’s current migration situation is placing large numbers of children at risk of sexual exploitation and abuse. To mark the second European Day on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse on 18 November, the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights calls on the EU and its Member States to ensure adequate and effective safeguards are erected to help put an end to children becoming victims of traffickers and abusers.
