The fundamental importance of the rule of law was stressed by FRA Director in his introduction to a thematic debate during the EU’s General Affairs Council on 24 May in Brussels. He expressed concern over the constant attacks to the rule of law and its relationship with human rights and, particularly, the integration of migrants.
