FRA will take part in an online seminar to introduce the challenges and principles linked to the use of profiling by law enforcement officers. FRA will draw on findings from its EU minorities and discrimination surveys in relation to stop and search and trust in police.
It will provide an overview of the principles described in the guide on preventing unlawful profiling. CEPOL, the EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training, is organising the seminar that takes place on 21 October. This is the second CEPOL webinar on the subject. It builds on the success of the April 2020 seminar that gathered around 400 law enforcement officers from all EU Member States.
