FRA Director Michael O'Flaherty will speak about police violence against Roma during a meeting of the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) on 9 November.

Based on FRA evidence, he will draw the European Parliament’s attention to persisting discrimination and hate crime, including by police officers, against Roma.

The European Commission’s anti-racism coordinator, and the European Roma Rights Centre will join the Director for this exchange of views.
