FRA will take part in an international conference under the Slovenian EU Presidency on empowering people with disabilities to fully participate in society by increasing their mobility and accessibility.

FRA will focus on its new work on EU funds. This work seeks to strengthen the capacity of national bodies with a human rights remit in monitoring the fundamental rights compliance of EU funds. The project will address all Charter rights. It will also help address disability-related funding issues, including the transition towards community-based living of people with disabilities.

The event takes place on 20 November.
