FRA Director, Michael O'Flaherty surrounded by young people online

On 23 February, join the Fundamental Rights Agency’s Director, Michael O’Flaherty, online to voice your fundamental rights concerns and discuss ways to solve them. The second Fundamental Rights Dialogue invites young people to participate in shaping our societies, placing human rights centre stage.

The main discussion topics are:

  • How to make sure that everyone can enjoy fair and equal access to education, jobs and healthcare?
  • How to tackle hate speech, racism and disinformation, especially online?
  • How to reduce divisions and help everyone take part in society?

The Dialogue takes place online on 23 February 2020, from 18:00 to 19:30 CET.

It will be in French and English, with live interpretation and captioning.

Anyone can join by registering online(link is external) before or even during the event. The discussions will also be livestreamed on Youtube and Facebook.

To follow the Dialogue on social media, use #RightsDialogue and #AskFRA.

The outcome of the Dialogue will feed into the discussion at the upcoming Fundamental Rights Forum on 11-12 October 2021 – a high-level event that brings together people who strive to ensure that everyone in the EU can enjoy their rights.

So, join the dialogue and have your say about fundamental rights in the EU!

The first Fundamental Rights Dialogue took place on 13 November 2020.

The first dialogue event recording is available in English(link is external) and German(link is external).
