FRA provided fundamental rights expertise to the discussions based on its reports on the use of biometrics in the EU IT systems(link is external), on Artificial intelligence and implications for fundamental rights(link is external) and its focus paper on facial recognition technology.(link is external) The project has been selected in the context of the Innovation Hub. The meeting ran from 13 to 14 April.
