On 25 May, FRA took part in the Sub-Committee on Migrant Smuggling and Trafficking in Human Beings of the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly. The online hearing aimed to inform the Sub-Committee about relevant findings to enable them to define adequate future action.

This meeting also provided opportunity to make the sub-committee aware of FRA’s relevant work. It also was a chance to identify possibilities where the sub-committee, national parliaments and individual parliamentarians can support FRA’s work. The other speakers included European Parliament, OSCE, UNODC and African Union Commission.
