The IOI has been informed about the rejection of the annual reports and the subsequent dismissal from office on 16 June 2021 of the People’s Advocate of Romania, Ms Renate Weber, by a vote in Parliament. Please find enclosed a statement by the office of the People’s Advocate explaining the situation.
The IOI is always ready to support colleagues under threat and will issue an official statement on the matter in due course.
