Hiring: Research regarding redress in discrimination cases - sanctions and remedies
Equinet is currently seeking a consultant to draft a report regarding redress in discrimination cases, focusing on sanctions and remedies. Consultants experienced in in the field of EU equal treatment law are invited to submit their proposals in accordance with the terms of reference. Training Resources: Persuasive Writing 101 & Tackling Hate Speech
Last month Equinet hosted a training to sharpen the persuasive skills of communication experts from equality bodies, helping them counter hate speech on- as well as offline. Training resources including writing samples are now available for download.

Call for Input: Standards for Equality Bodies !
A consultation period is running until 18 March 2022 (midnight Brussels time) to inform the Commission’s work on further measures to strengthen equality bodies by setting minimum standards on how they operate in all grounds of discrimination and areas covered by EU equality rules. Equinet strongly encourages all equality stakeholders to contribute to this consultation.

Call for Input: Addressing possible gaps in the Racial Equality Directive
The EC is seeking input from persons at risk of discrimination based on ethnic or racial origin (other stakeholders consultations will take place in parallel, though they also participate in this general consultation). The consultation aims at identifying potential gaps related to EU legislation prohibiting discrimination based on ethnic or racial origin and suitable measures to address them. Learn more and submit your input.
