On 29 June, FRA updated its overview on the accreditation status and mandates of National Human Rights Institutions.
Since its last update in September 2021, two NHRIs changed their accreditation status and one applied for accreditation. In addition, five NHRIs have new mandates.
Since its last update in The update covers the 27 EU countries as well as Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia.
It builds on FRA’s 2020 report Strong and effective national human rights institutions.
