FRA will host a high-level meeting of fundamental rights leaders and experts in Rust, Austria from 7 to 8 September.

The meeting will bring together some sixty invited representatives from the European Union, Council of Europe, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), United Nations, academia, civil society, the business world, and the arts and faith communities.

There will be focused roundtable discussions on key issues like the climate crisis, disinformation and the war in Ukraine.

The invitation-only event, with full respect for Chatham House Rule, seeks to explore pressing human rights challenges, inspire collective action and strengthen cooperation.

The outcomes will inform human rights bodies, globally and in Europe, as well as policymakers in the EU.
