On Thursday, the Petitions Committee will receive the European Ombudsman Emily O’Reilly, who will brief them on her annual report 2021.

The Ombudsman will describe her office’s activities in 2021. This was a year still largely overshadowed by the pandemic, as detailed in the report. After the presentation, MEPs will comment on the presentation and share their views on the Ombudsman’s activities and their relationship with the EU institutions.
