Convegno- evento formativo “La salute é un diritto per tutti. Le cure socio-sanitarie per gli anziani malati non autosufficienti e le persone con demenza senile”

After the success of the first edition, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) are today launching an update of their guide to European law on asylum, borders and immigration. As well as updating the material contained in the handbook published last year, the guide is being made available in a further two languages.

The International Day for Support of Victims of Torture is a day dedicated to persons succumbed to torture and a day when we express our determination for efficient investigation of all kinds of torture and violation of human rights. On this day we also remind that the fight against torture should be fought on a daily basis because it is absolutely forbidden and unacceptable no matter the reasons behind it.

On the occasion of the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, the chairperson of the Austrian Ombudsman Board Günther Kräuter acknowledges the work of the Expert Commissions and the Human Rights Advisory Council.
