El Defensor del Pueblo Andaluz ha iniciado una actuación de oficio al haber tenido conocimiento, por distintos medios, de diversos hechos que merecen ser objeto de investigación por parte de esta Defensoría, como son la existencia de viviendas protegidas propiedad de EMVISESA vacías y sin ocupar, así como la inejecución de acuerdos municipales relacionados con la creación y cesión a dicha entidad de un Parque Público de Viviendas Sociales y, todo ello, en relación a la problemática de vivienda de las familias sevillanas que debido a sus circunstancias económicas no pueden acceder a una vivienda de alquiler en el mercado libre.
