El Síndic de Greuges de la Comunitat Valenciana, José Cholbi, se ha dirigido recientemente a la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia para pedir que se adopten las medidas necesarias para que su alumnado pueda recibir las enseñanzas en las dos lenguas oficiales de la Comunitat. Asimismo, también ha reclamado programas de fomento de la educación en valenciano con el objetivo de ampliar los grupos en esta lengua cooficial en todas las titulaciones.

After introducing the AOB’s competences, working methods and responsibilities, Ombudswoman Brinek pointed out the importance and independence of the Austrian Ombudsman Board, especially in the promotion and protection of human rights in Austria. Mr. Zaid Ra’ad Al Hussein welcomed the future oriented approach and handling of the OPCAT mandate, under which the AOB acts as a National Preventive mechanism (NPM).
