Rafael Yanes y el alcalde, José Daniel Díaz, destacan la necesidad de cumplir con los plazos estipulados para la atención y resolución de las reclamaciones recibidas

El Diputado del Común, Rafael Yanes, y el alcalde de Tacoronte, José Daniel Díaz, se reunieron para trabajar en las quejas ciudadanas recibidas en la Institución, así como para establecer pautas de colaboración que faciliten las vías de comunicación entre ambas instituciones.

Durante este encuentro también estuvieron presentes la concejala de Asociaciones de Vecinos, Asociaciones de Mayores, Talleres Municipales y Turismo, Raquel Marichal; la concejala de Juventud, Educación, Innovación, Nuevas Tecnologías, Drogodependencias y Voluntariado, Leticia del Carmen López; el concejal de Personal de Oficios, Sanidad, OMIC y Deportes, José Antonio Gil; y el concejal de Transporte, Tráfico, Movilidad, Seguridad Ciudadana, Policía Local y Protección Civil, Julio Navarro.

Destacaron la necesidad de cumplir con los plazos estipulados para la atención y resolución de las reclamaciones y, para ello, acordaron la cooperación interinstitucional y ofrecieron su total disposición para tal fin.

„An uns können sich Kinder und Jugendliche, aber auch alle, die Kenntnis von Kindeswohlgefährdung erhalten wenden. Wir können die Arbeit der Jugendämter ergänzen“ so Barbara Schleicher-Rothmund, Bürgerbeauftragte des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz und Ombudsfrau der Beschwerdestelle für Kinder- und Jugendliche.

Wie das Statistische Landesamt Rheinland-Pfalz gestern mitteilte, stellten Behörden 2020 fast 3.100 Fälle von Kindeswohlgefährdung fest. „Mit der Einrichtung unserer Beschwerdestelle in der Kinder- und Jugendliche haben wir ein zusätzliches Angebot geschaffen, wie sich Kinder und Jugendliche niedrigschwellig und direkt an den Staat wenden können, wenn sie Opfer von Missbrauch geworden sind oder es befürchten“, so Schleicher-Rothmund. Die Stelle ist u.a. mit einer Pädagogin und einem Juristen ausgestattet, die schnell und unmittelbar helfen können.

„Wir weisen regelmäßig alle Jugendämter, Jugendhilfeeinrichtungen und Schulen in Rheinland-Pfalz auf unser Angebot hin. Auf diese Weise soll ein Zeichen dafür gesetzt werden, dass die Beschwerdestelle einen unverzichtbaren Teil des Kinder- und Jugendhilfesystems darstellt und dazu beiträgt, auf präventiver Ebene Kindeswohlgefährdungen in unterschiedlichen Kontexten abzuwenden.“, so die Bürgerbeauftragte.

The Fundamental Rights Forum 2021 is fast approaching, starting on 11 October.

The Forum creates a unique platform for dialogue on pressing human rights challenges.

It brings together diverse voices, uniting thinkers, makers, creators and doers. It will be an opportunity for young people in particular to voice their opinions.

On 11-12 October, we will connect the main stage in Vienna with hubs in other cities and virtual sessions across Europe, offering the best of both in-person and online events.

It will be a chance to look forward: building a vision of hope. For that reason, two topics run across the entire Forum: our responses to the effects of Covid-19 pandemic as well as young people and Europe’s future.

Threats to our fundamental rights existed before the pandemic changed the world. They are more visible and pressing than ever before.

The Fundamental Rights Forum 2021 will tackle these head-on.

Together we will deliver answers to questions shaping the critical human rights agenda. Together we will build hope.
