Hoy se ha firmado el Protocolo de colaboración entre el Síndic de Greuges de Cataluña y los síndicos universitarios
 

Esta mañana ha tenido lugar el acto de firma del Protocolo de colaboración entre el Síndic de Greuges de Cataluña y los síndicos de doce universidades catalanas: Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, ​​Universidad Abat Oliva, Universidad de Barcelona, ​​Universidad de Girona, Universidad de Lleida, Universidad Internacional de Cataluña, Universidad Oberta de Cataluña, Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña, Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Universidad Ramon Llull, Universidad Rovira i Virgili i Universidad de Vic - Universidad Central de Cataluña.

Desde 2006 se trabaja en estrecha colaboración con los síndicos universitarios, pero el crecimiento del número de universidades catalanas y los cambios en el régimen jurídico del sector público han hecho necesario actualizar el convenio anterior.

Con la firma de este documento, las partes se comprometen a trabajar para mejorar el conocimiento de las problemáticas comunes mediante reuniones periódicas e impulsar acciones coordinadas en ámbitos de interés mutuo. El Protocolo también recoge el compromiso de reunirse una vez al año para evaluar su aplicación y valorar posibles mejoras.

Durante el acto, la síndica ha querido destacar el papel de los síndicos universitarios como parte fundamental de la red de defensa de los derechos de las personas: "Es imprescindible trabajar mancomunadamente para mejorar la atención a la comunidad universitaria y la garantía de sus derechos."

März 2025 war der Bürgerbeauftragte der Bayerischen Staatsregierung, Herr Wolfgang Fackler, MdL, von Herrn Ministerpräsidenten Dr. Markus Söder, MdL, zur Aushändigung des Ehrenzeichens für Verdienste im Ehrenamt eingeladen. Herr Staatsminister Dr. Florian Herrmann, MdL, hat ehrenamtlich tätigen Frauen und Männern aus Oberbayern, Niederbayern und Schwaben das Ehrenzeichen des Bayerischen Ministerpräsidenten für Verdienste im Ehrenamt ausgehändigt.

The Public Defender echoes the publicly disseminated information regarding the detention of Elene Khoshtaria and her alleged ill-treatment in the police station, as well as in the temporary detention center, and notes that during the full search by law enforcement officers, a person should not be required to undress all parts of the body simultaneously - such a practice is humiliating and degrading treatment of a person.

In addition, Article 5 of the Internal Regulations of the Temporary Detention Centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia stipulates that during a personal search, it is not permissible to completely undress the person being searched. Such treatment of women is particularly noteworthy.

It should also be noted that on March 29, while in the pre-trial detention center, Elene Khoshtaria refused to meet with a representative of the Office. The Public Defender's representative contacted Elene Khoshtaria after her release as well, but she again refused to cooperate with the Office.

The Public Defender's Office will study the case on its own initiative and will contact all the relevant agencies for further action.
