Today we are pleased to share the annual report of the group's work in 2020-21, on behalf of Healthcare Improvement Scotland. This is the sixth annual report from the group.

This report summarises key points about the work of the group between April 2020 and March 2021. This is a time period that coincided with two national ‘lockdowns’ in Scotland in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the pandemic, the group has continued to share, consider, and respond to intelligence about the quality and safety of care delivered by 18 NHS boards. The report also renews and updates the group’s commitments for the future. This includes how the group is addressing some important issues to ensure it is effective in how it shares, considers and responds to intelligence about the quality and safety of care.

Date of article: 25/11/2021

Daily News of: 26/11/2021

Country:  Spain - Canary Islands

Author: Regional Ombudsman of the Canary Islands
